Shoot the canisters, then sit back and watch the bodies bounce off the walls. A personal favorite was the gas canisters on the backs of some Trandoshan slavers. Enemies talk to each other when standing guard, provide hand signals during combat, and even die in a few different manners. An energy wiper will clean your foes' blood off of your visor, while your weapon can be modified to perform a variety of tasks. The visuals are top-notch, particularly when it comes to the little details that are often overlooked. If they're getting low, simply send them over to one of the aforementioned health stations (of which there are a bit too many).Įven after playing the game for a few minutes, you'll be able to see that the developers put a lot of effort into the game's production.
At any given point, you can check on the health status of your squad members by checking out the color coded icons at the bottom of your screen. It works both ways, too, as you'll be able to revive any teammates that fall in battle. After being brought back to life, you'll need to make your way to one of the health stations that are located across the game's levels. Instead of seeing a "Game Over" screen, you'll stay in your character's first-person view after you fall, and you can have one of your squadmates revive you. Thankfully, the men on your squad will be on hand to pick you up when you're down.
